Each
year, our teams of energetic volunteers help collect, organize,
and distribute thousands of holidays presents to children throughout
the country. Children receive new clothing, educational items,
and some toys. Our
hope is that we can help create happy memories while providing
hope for a better tomorrow. Every child should have happy memories
of Christmas.
Focus
America sponsors children from various agencies throughout
the country. Student volunteers match children up with donors
who send educational items, clothing, and toys during the
holiday seasons.
- In
2002, we sponsored 75 children in Illinois and New Jersey.
- In
2003, we sponsored almost 1200 children in seven states.
- In
2004, we helped over
1500 children.
